Agreed. None of it is hard, it's just paying a bit of attention. Good thread, made me laugh.

Pretty much the unwritten rulebook right there. Be aware of the people around you and you'll never be the person someone posts about in a thread like this.

This thread is therapeutic honestly. Sounds like 're-rack, wipe down, don't camp on a machine on your phone' covers about 90% of everyone's pet peeves.

The collars. People never put the collars back. I spend half my session hunting for two matching clips.

That's totally fair. Working in solves most of it. The problem is the phone people who can't work in because they've zoned out completely.

Counterpoint to the rest-time complaints - some of us are doing heavy compounds and genuinely need 3-4 minutes between sets. The fix is just let people work in, not glare at them.

Dropping dumbbells from the top of a press when they're 20kg. You don't need to slam them, you're not deadlifting 300. The whole gym jumps every time.

Ha, the random form police are a special breed. Especially when they're flat out wrong.

Mine's a bit different - unsolicited form advice. If I want a coach I'll hire one. Ninety percent of the time the person giving it has worse form than me anyway.
