Meal prep is killing me
. Cooking the same meals over and over gets old fast, especially when everyone around you is ordering takeout.

I take protein based on my meals rather than whether I trained. Some days I crush my protein target with food, and other days a shake saves me.

My biggest hack is keeping emergency meals in the freezer. I’ll make extra turkey chili, burrito bowls, or chicken meals and freeze individual portions. On those nights when I get home late and have zero motivation to cook, I can heat something up in a few minutes instead of ordering pizza.

The nutrition side gets overlooked too. I started eating enough protein and stopped being afraid of carbs around my training, and my workouts felt noticeably better.

For me it was learning that more isn't always better. I used to think every tough day meant I needed more cardio or less food. Working with my coach taught me to actually look at the data and make small adjustments instead of constantly reacting to how I felt that day.

I underestimated how much time competition prep takes. Between meal prep, training, cardio, posing, recovery, and everyday life, it can feel like a second job.
