Honestly, 140–160g at your body weight sounds pretty reasonable. I’d pay more attention to your total calories, training progression, sleep, and whether your weight is moving in the direction you want.

I went through the phase where I bought every supplement that had a crazy label and neon-colored tub.
Now it's basically creatine, protein when needed, and caffeine occasionally.

I'd prioritize being genuinely ready over hitting an arbitrary prep timeline. A good coach can help you determine whether your current condition makes a certain show realistic, but nobody online can tell you that accurately from a generic number of weeks. Protein shakes are useful, but I’ve found that relying on them too much makes my diet boring. I try to get most of my protein from actual meals and use a shake when I’m short at the end of the day.

Don't rush into a competition just because you want to see how lean you can get. Make sure you actually enjoy the process. The stage is one day, but the preparation takes months.
