Re: Two weeks out - the exact peak week checklist my coach gave me

You're more organised than most first-timers two weeks out. The fact you're not panicking and you're trusting small adjustments tells me you'll bring a good package. Enjoy it.

Re: Two weeks out - the exact peak week checklist my coach gave me

The 'train as normal until 3-4 days out' point trips people up. They stop training a week out, lose all their fullness and tightness, and show up soft. Keep moving, just pull the volume down at the end.

Landmines are incredibly forgiving on bad overhead mechanics.

Last thing - enjoy it. First show is about learning the process and getting your stage legs. Whatever you place, you'll come back smarter. Don't let peak week stress rob you of the experience.

Second biggest: people panic when they look flat mid-week and start hacking their plan. You're supposed to look a bit flat before you carb up. Trust the process, don't chase the mirror every hour.

Tendons love slow eccentric loading. Try 4 seconds down on light weights.

Please do. One-sided knee stuff scares people but it's usually mechanical and very fixable. Good luck.

Re: Left knee aches only on the way up out of the squat - what actually fixed it for you?

The weight shift is your answer then. Your left leg is doing more than its share on the way up. Single-leg work to balance it out - split squats, and actually pause and own the bottom position so you stop dumping to one side.
