Chiming in to say it's great seeing this. Strength training genuinely changes how people carry themselves, and threads like this get more women to try it. Brilliant work and keep going.

And it will again. The creep is the trap - more scoops, more tolerance, repeat. Resetting and then disciplining your dose is the only way off the treadmill.

When you do come back, dose by half a scoop and actually assess. Most people never needed more than one scoop, they just crept up without paying attention. Start low after the reset and hold the line.

Wraps are fine but fix the underlying tight lats first.

Re: Lower back pumps during deadlifts - is this normal or a warning sign?
Please do. Nine times out of ten this is benign, but it's always worth ruling out the form stuff early rather than finding out the hard way.

Re: Lower back pumps during deadlifts - is this normal or a warning sign?
Try a glass of water with a pinch of salt 20 minutes before next time. Costs nothing and the cramp-like version of that pump often disappears.

Re: Lower back pumps during deadlifts - is this normal or a warning sign?
One thing to check though - a big erector pump that becomes a cramp can be a hydration and electrolyte thing too. If you're training fasted at 5am, a bit of salt and water beforehand can take the edge off it.

Re: My current upper/lower split that finally added size to my back - full breakdown
Reps first within the range, then weight when I hit the top of the range on all sets, and I add a set or two every few weeks up to a cap. Slow and boring but it works.

That'll do it. Move it to the front, add a second row pattern, control the negatives, and give it a few months. You'll see it.
