Supplements to Power Your New Training Regimen

Post by BigMk91 »

Just started a new training routine and wanted to share what’s been helping me so far. Along with solid nutrition and rest, I’ve added a few key supplements to stay energized and recover faster:

• Whey Protein – Great for post-workout recovery and hitting my daily protein goals.

• Creatine Monohydrate – Helps with strength and endurance, especially during heavy lifts.

• Pre-Workout – Gives me a clean boost of energy and focus before hitting the gym.

• BCAAs/EAA – Useful during longer sessions to support muscle retention and reduce fatigue.

• Multivitamin & Fish Oil – For overall health and joint support.

Everyone’s different, but this combo has been working well for me. Curious what others are using – what supplements do you swear by when starting a new program?

Solid stack! I always stick with creatine and whey too. Recently added beta-alanine feels like it helps with endurance during longer sessions.

Nice list. I dropped BCAAs and just focused on whole food and EAA now. Been working great, especially during cutting phases.

Pre-workout is a must for me too especially on leg day 😅
Caffeine and citrulline make all the difference!

I like to keep it simple: just whey, creatine, and a good multivitamin. The basics go a long way if your diet is solid.

Fish oil is underrated! Helped a lot with my joint pain when I upped my deadlift volume. Good call including it.

Anyone here using greens powder or digestive enzymes? I’ve been thinking of adding those for gut health along with my new routine.

Thanks for all the input, guys! Sounds like creatine and whey are common ground. I might investigate beta-alanine and greens too.
